24 carat pure gold leaf - 100% edible
Fantastic metallic detail for cakes, models, cake toppers etc
Cut to your required shape, thinly brush icing surface with edible glue or confectioners glaze
Alternatively apply dry using a sugar craft dusting brush - the natural static electricity will cause the leaf to cling to the brush
Please note the leaf will not apply as a solid sheet, but in natural patches
Retail packed with instructions - follow carefully as it's an expensive product
The sheet is approx 8cm / 80mm / just over 3 inch square
It can also be brushed on dry or gently scrunched on cakes and desserts
Only 23K and 24K gold is classed as edible - avoid lower grades (especially those sold on eBay as cosmetics) as anything lower than 23 karat contains brass, and brass contains copper - which is toxic !
Many people are surprised but it is 100% edible - used a lot in fine Indian cooking and in chocolate making
Eye-catching when used in cocktails
BBE exempt - should last for a few million years!

Special Order Products - Much like our service in store, if you would like to purchase something that is not currently in stock you can do so. We provide special order on products such as cake bases, bulk packets of products and more. To order a Special Order Product you can complete the check out process in the same way as you would with products currently in stock, we will send you an email as soon as the product arrives in store and is ready to be collected (or shipped out to you).

Whilst we are happy to deliver your order to your home or workplace, we do recommend that some products are collected in store only due to their fragile nature (items such as sugar flowers and figurines), further information on this can be found in their product information, but by ordering these items for delivery you are accepting responsibility for any damages.
Returns

If an item was not what you expected or you simply changed your mind, Sugar & Ice are happy to credit your account on return of the item, providing it is unused/new and is still encased in its original packaging, allowing for the Company to stay well within Food Hygiene and Safety guidelines. Customers must contact us within 14 days of receipt, and return the item within 14 days of notification. Perishable goods (e.g. sponge bases and edible goods) and any personalised items cannot be returned and refunded unless faulty. It is not usual to accept returns on any edible goods unless faulty, as it is not good food hygiene practice to offer edibles for resale oncer they have been sold and returned.
