Sugar And Crumbs prides itself on naturally flavoured icing sugars and cocoa powders. This flavoured Icing sugar can help you on your way to creating indulgent buttercreams, chantilly creams, meringues, icing and flavoured royal icing.
Recipes for flavoured buttercream
Ingredients
500g of Sugar And Crumbs flavoured icing sugar
250g of unsalted butter
Tablespoon of milk (skimmed, semi-skimmed or full fat). Add more if needed.
Method
All Sugar And Crumbs Icing Sugars are made from quite intense flavours. If you wish you can dilute with plain icing sugar to give more of a “hint” of flavour, this also helps your bag go further!
1. Place butter at room temperature into your mixing bowl (250g)
2. Mix for several minutes until it is light, fluffy and soft.
3. Add Sugar And Crumbs flavoured Icing sugar (500g)
4. Add a tablespoon of milk. More if needed or for a softer mix
5. Mix by hand at first to help reduce an icing cloud.
6. Mix for several minutes until light and fluffy.
7. Add more milk if you want to make a really soft consistency.
8. Add colouring if desired.

Special Order Products - Much like our service in store, if you would like to purchase something that is not currently in stock you can do so. We provide special order on products such as cake bases, bulk packets of products and more. To order a Special Order Product you can complete the check out process in the same way as you would with products currently in stock, we will send you an email as soon as the product arrives in store and is ready to be collected (or shipped out to you).

If an item was not what you expected or you simply changed your mind, Sugar & Ice are happy to credit your account on return of the item, providing it is unused/new and is still encased in its original packaging, allowing for the Company to stay well within Food Hygiene and Safety guidelines. Customers must contact us within 14 days of receipt, and return the item within 14 days of notification. Perishable goods (e.g. sponge bases and edible goods) and any personalised items cannot be returned and refunded unless faulty. It is not usual to accept returns on any edible goods unless faulty, as it is not good food hygiene practice to offer edibles for resale oncer they have been sold and returned.
